Versatility and Value in Multi-Octave
Microwave Couplers
With a variety of applications in communications, radar and test
and measurement in mind, the new BDC series of broadband directional couplers
has been introduced by Atlantic Microwave Ltd for frequency coverage from
500 MHz to 18 GHz in multi-octave bands.
In each band there is a choice of either 6, 10, 15 or 20 dB coupling with
tolerance of +/- 1 dB and frequency sensitivity ranging from +/- 0.6 dB
at the low frequency end to +/- 1.0 dB for a 2-18 GHz unit. Impedance
is 50 ohms.
All units are supplied in robust aluminium alloy housings with matt black
finish for operation over temperatures from -54 to +125 C and in environments
to MIL-E-5400.
SMA female connectors to MIL-C-39012 are standard but type N female can
be supplied as an option.
